We hope you are having the best day!  Your parents have information about how you can get on the computer and do some really fun things at home.

You will login to Google Classroom (with your username@bps-schools.com and animal/number password.) Students have been automatically registered for the BPS 3/4 Learners (Covington) classroom. If you are not able to see this page, you can join it with the join code; lcb32ne.  Click HERE to watch a video of how to enroll in the 3/4 Learners (Covington) classroom.  

The BPS 3/4 Learners Classroom contains activities for each subject area. 

Go to the Classwork tab (at the top, in the middle) to view activities.

The district expectation is for our 3/4 students to spend no more than 30 minutes in one activity, and to explore no more than 3 activities per day.  Activities can be completed over multiple days.

Here are 3 suggestions in the 3/4 Learners Classroom to get you started:

·         Math Online/Anytime Activity Measurement (Nearpod Measuring Length)

·         Science Why Do Cats Purr? Mystery Science

·         Social Studies - Getting To Know Michigan (Read and/or coloring)


Remember, you might not finish all of these activities in one day. That's okay!

Reading:  

Parents - Please initial your child's planner each week (on any day Monday - Friday) to show that they have done/are doing their daily required reading and to indicate that you have seen their planner.
3rd: 20 mins daily
4th: 30 mins daily


Students - Please bring in a chapter book from home to read in class

Language Arts Homework:
 1. Be sure to visit www.spellingcity.com for your new word study list if you did not before school was out.

2. Be sure to go to Epic( yes it's free for after school hours) and do the readings in your MAILBOX first.

3. Did you finish your Google Classroom( Wallington page)  Opinion Writing Assignments from last week? If not, now is a GREAT time to finish it and have your parents help you edit it!
