Hello Parents,

Our classroom is responsible for creating a basket for the BCS Blast, the largest fundraiser for our children's school. Donations from parents are encouraged, but not required, in an effort to create a basket that can be auctioned off at the blast. The theme for our particular basket is gift cards to dining establishments around town. I have created this sign up genius to allow us the opportunity to sign up to donate gift cards to different places to eat. The places I have listed are merely suggestions, and certainly are not all inclusive. If you prefer to get a card to a place not listed, feel free to do so. In that case, please identify in the comment section the name of the business so we do not have duplicates. We are asking that each card be valued at $10. You are also welcome to send in cash, and I am happy to obtain gift cards on your behalf. The completed basket is due in February. Gift cards/money can be sent in with your child to school, in an envelope marked Wallington blast donation, and given to my son Sebastian. If you are able to send me an email letting me know you have sent an envelope in, I will be on the lookout. Please have your gift cards/cash to me no later than January 31, 2019. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your willingness to help the blast be successful!

Inside your child's binder is a blue folder. This folder stays inside their binder. It will contain papers and mail from school.

Parents - Please initial your child's planner each night to show that they have done their daily required reading.
3rd: 20 mins daily
4th: 30 mins daily


Reminders: 

*School starts at 8:18 am Students should be in their homeroom seat by this time. *Bring a chapter book.

*Have 3 sharp pencils every day.
*( Optional) Bring a water bottle and two healthy snacks every day.
*Remember to bring in headphones or earbuds to keep at school (if you haven't already done so.)

Be sure to study your cursive sheet. Practice writing in cursive at least three times per week. Maybe write notes to your parent(s)!!
