Reminders:
• School starts at 8:18am Students should be in their homeroom seat by this time. We start each morning reading a book of your choice.
• Bring a water bottle and two healthy snacks every day.  One for the am and one for Choice Hour.
• Bring a chapter book every day for the am to be used before Mathematics class

REFLECTIONS CONTEST


The PTA Reflections Art Program officially begin this week!  This National program is open to all BCS students. 

Here’s some basic information:

·         Create an original artwork based on the theme “What Is Your Story?”

·         Art categories include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts

·         Rules and entry form available at http://www.bcsonline.info/PTSA/Reflections.html

·         All entries (including Summer Packet work) collected in the BCS Media Center until November 11th

·         Top 2 entries per category/division (Middle School, Intermediate, and Special Artist) go to District competition, and possibly State and National Recognition


·         All participants invited to the Reflection Recognition Lunch in the spring
