Hello......
How are you and how is your summer going?
It's August and 3/4 @ BCS is around the block. Summer has been great for me. I have been having fun with my family and friends. Too much to tell, but I will tell you when I see you on Tuesday, September 7th.
Have you done your back to school shopping yet? Remember to purchase EXTRA glue, pencils, crayons, and scissors and store them until February. This way, when you lose or run out of these items, you will have extra and not have to pay extra!!
Summer packets are due in September, 2010
Through the "Michigan reads" program, the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings have all agreed to offer students incentives for reading 10 books between June 14 and August 22. In exchange for reading, students get to choose a great reward from their favorite team, including tickets, stadium parties, luxury suites, and other cool grand prizes. Educators and parents can go to www.michiganreads.com to learn how students can take part in the program this summer.
