4th graders.......get ready for Battle of the Books!!

A permission slip went home for our first field trip! We are going to the Ford Rouge Factory Tour!!! Please have your child return the permission slip and money by Friday, October 30th.

Language Arts– Read at least 20 minutes (3rd graders) or 30 minutes (4th graders)

4th grade Mathematics homework is to finish journal pages 60-63 if you did not finish. Remember to work on your Unit 3 Review. The review is due Tuesday, November 3rd. Finally, start studying your multiplication facts( 0-12).

Social Studies homework is to plan your community project. The project is due November 2nd.Remember to email your pictures to your email account. Then at school, you will put it in your H-Drive. Bring the draft paper to school on November 2nd.

Science homework is to work on your raindrop story. Remember your story is due TOMORROW. Finally, using your study guide, study for the Science Test on Friday!!

The sign-up for Parent-Teacher conferences is now up! Please stop by our classroom with your calendar so you can choose a day/time that works for you! I look forward to meeting with everyone! *

Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to class so he/she does not have to leave class when thirsty!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

Halloween at BCS is Friday October 30th. Students should come to school in their normal school clothes. At 1:15 the students will change into their costumes. (No full face masks in the class room, weapons, fake blood or inappropriate costumes). The BCS parade will start at 1:45 and take you two laps around the building. Then, we will come back to our homeroom for our Halloween party from 2:15- 3:00. At 3:00 we will begin cleaning up and have bucket distribution time.
